Russian Tea Balls

Russian Tea Balls

2 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Shape into walnut sized balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 for 10 minutes, but don't let brown.

While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Let cool and roll again in powdered sugar. Tea Balls taste better when stored for a few days.

My Grandma makes these every year around the holidays -- though they came to be known by a different name because of the slight change. Instead of walnuts, she uses pecans.

They're REALLY good!
